A short video featuring Shawna Coronado’s front yard veggie garden. Her 8 year old daughter discovers Cabbage Worms – tiny caterpillars – in the garden which are eating the veggies. They decide to rescue them to see the resultant butterflies.

@TheUrbanOutdoors It has been quite the adventure!!!
Cool how you intigrated your garden into the front yard landscape. Looks good. Zoning rules prevent me from doing it, but way cool.
Thanks! So glad you like it!
Shawna

Shawna,
If only I could pay my kids to hang out with me in the garden! They would rather be out there with their friends!
I was very nature deficit when I was young and it’s great to see your daughter enjoy the garden, the worms and being with mommy.
Totally fun experience – had a great time – thanks for your comments!
awesome advice all-around!
Making lemons out of lemonade – WOOT!
