I need serious Psychiatric help… possible diagnosises? Anything?

When I was 15, I was assessed by a psych as showing strong signs of PTSD and ADD and it was advised I receive immediate consultations with a regular psychiatrist and have a regular therapist. I wasn’t informed until I was 21 of the results of that assessment. As I was under Children’s Aid’s Care, no further action was taken to get me the help I obviously needed. Now I’m 23, and have been out of the system for some years. I am not in any financial position to get the help that I need. I was wondering if anyone has any advice. I also want to post a list of my most common and debilitating “symptoms” or “problems” so that anyone with similar problems can write me back and tell me what they were diagnosed with, or lead me in a direction to research.

Pre-Occupation with death – To say the least, I’m terrified of death for no apparent reason. I think about it all day long, every single day, for a couple of years now. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. It’s stressful and depressing, and while I should think to make the best of my life while I have it, it’s just debilitating and scary as hell. At the same time, I have very little desire to live, and nothing to look forward to. In the last 5 years, I have literally accomplished nothing, I am in the exact same position I was in 5 years ago.
Insomnia… sort of. I get less that 5 a day, on a good day, and “day” being the key word. I CANNOT sleep at night time, ever, even if I force myself to stay awake during the day so I’m exhausted at night, I won’t be able to sleep. I will lay there for hours upon hours, until sunlight comes back up, and then I will be able to sleep. Leaving lights on doesn’t cut it. I get manic at night.
Anti-social – I don’t make friends easily, I don’t like to leave my house and do things, and I can’t relate to other people my age. I feel like my life is so different from other people’s lives that I cannot connect with their experiences and they cannot connect to mine. I’m also hugely negative, which impacts my ability to communicate with others. I feel completely detached from everyone else.
Racing thoughts – My brain is constantly racing from one thought to the next, about death, my failures, everything I’ve messed up, my fears, usually all negative thoughts, bouncing at lightening speeds in and out of my head. I can’t concentrate on anything.
I can’t stick to anything – I get bored, easily, and distracted. Any job that is routine, same thing day in and out, I can’t do. Even school, I can’t stick with it, I lose all motivation quickly with no apparent cause.
No control over emotions – 0 to 60 in 1.2 seconds. Any emotion, anger, sadness, manic, whatever. It’s like the snap of your fingers, and I can’t control it. I have sudden out bursts over nothing.
I feel absolutely worthless and sad and hopeless.
Re-occurring nightmares – Some events that have happened and other randomly frightening ones that are so off and nothing like any experience I’ve ever had.
I have horrible organizational skills and I procrastinate everything. I frequently forget things, appointments, or things that I meant to do because I procrastinate so long I lose it. I also forget simple things, I can be in the middle of an argument, and complete lose what the argument was about or what has been said, like I was dropped into someone else’s argument mid sentence and I have no idea what’s going on.

Here is the very short and sweet on my life. At 8 months old, my mother left and completely abandoned my sister and I, left to live with our father. He was sexually and physically abusive. Children’s Aid was involved numerous times but never removed us. At 14, I ratted him out for his online child pornography addiction so I could leave. It was the only thing I could do to keep myself safe. The only family I had ever known growing up was his side, who all disowned me after all this happened. I went into the foster care system and bounced at least 15-20 times. I never finished highschool, I never got to stay in one place long enough and I eventually dropped out after being switched highschools 5 times. I never formed a relationship with my mother. Last she spoke to me, she said she never came back because she hated me, never felt like I was hers, and couldn’t stand me. She said there was never a bond, and she had to leave. The day she left when I was 8 mths, she smothered me until I turned blue and she thought I was dead. I have been completely and utterly alone ever since entering the system. I have never found a place where I belong, or people I can connect with. I know I need help, serious help, but I’m just looking for an avenue to start looking since I can’t afford the help I need.
It’s also worth mentioning I have been on several different anti depressants and ALL have made me m

Yugioh: Which One Should I Choose?

Ok, so I am going to buy a new structure deck, order some single cards and turn that deck into a masterpiece. I am also thinking of participating on a tournament.

So, the decks I’m considering buying are Invincible Fortress or Dark Emperor.

If I choose Invincible fortress I would ask advice to turn it into a great deck because i see it has a lot of potential.

If i choose Dark Emperor I will turn it into a Monarch / D.D Deck.

Remember I can buy any singles (i cant spend more than 45 dollars)

The point on this question go to the person who answers the following question objectives:

1 – Choose a Deck for me to buy.

2 – Reccomend any single cards for me to change the deck.

3 – Do not say dumb things.

4 – You can change the main structure of the deck as long as at lest 1/3 of the cards are included there.

5 – Remember I can buy singles but I can’t spend more than 45 dollars so do not say stupid stuff like “Buy three of them”.

6 – If you think the deck gets better by adding the strong cards again to it, reccomend me sthe strong single cards, not the whole deck three times.

7 – Your answer should tell the mods to the deck and the new strategy.

Also, dont include forbidden cards because I’m thinking of using it for competition.

Why Do I Feel More Alive in My Dreams than I do when I’m Awake?

This isn’t so much a literal question, than a general “summed up” statement about my attitude towards life. Let me start off by saying that I am an Atheist, therefor my outlook on life is not always positive. I am 19 years old and I often encounter thoughts that bother me. I sometimes feel that mentally I am much older than I should be… not like the “cool” kind of older like 20 or 30, but more like 50 or 60. I feel that my outlook on life is heavily conflicting with the common issues of a young adult. I love philosophy and consider myself a Platonist. This does not help in my outlook on life. For those of you who are familiar with Plato’s “The Allegory of the Cave”, I always have this idea that there must be something more to this world and to life. The feeling is burned into my mind. I often feel like I am in a rat race… just sprinting for accomplishments and watching the most important parts of my life simply pass by, in order to achieve only what society says I’m suppose to “want”. As far as my dreams go, the statement above is fairly accurate. I feel much more alive in my dreams than in reality. I often try to replicate these feelings of purpose or content with meditation, marijuana, and even thought about doing LSD. I don’t do drugs for kicks and giggles like most kids my age, I just want to tear down the barriers of my mind that are causing me to feel this way. I feel as though my mind is trapped, always looking for that “perfect age” as a young person would call it. That perfect “state of mind” where everything will be much better than it is now. When I was in high school I thought college would be that “perfect state of mind”. I would literally have everything I ever wanted… freedom. But now that I’m here, I don’t feel that at all, in fact I feel worse. My anxiety is increasing and I still have that “trapped” feeling. I fear this is something I could carry with me for the rest of my life. All of these feelings go away however, when I dream, but are shattered when I wake up. When I wake up I often become overwhelmed when recalling all of the problems I’m having in life… as if I had forgotten all about them and they all just rush into my head in a single instant. Sometimes when I become very down, I become disgusted with the people around me and myself. I hear a person speaking loudly next to me in the bus and suddenly everything about them bothers me, I look at them and become appalled and angry. I think to myself how pathetic their lives are, and how they will never even know it. Then the anger turns inward. I become enraged with myself at times, I feel like I know how to make my life better, how to lose a little weight, get a girlfriend, get better grades, but I don’t apply them and this makes me feel like Im not in control. Sometimes I feel like I’m just depressed or crazy… but I feel this goes far beyond both.

For Those of you who don’t know what or how this deck works, allow me to demonstrate. make sure there is NO spell and trap cards in your deck. have 3 copies of Koa’ki Meiru Doom, Genex Ally Birdman and Gallis the Star Beast. Have alot of searchers and alot of high level monsters or monsters that stall, strong, draw power and spell and trap removal. now to use this deck all you need to have in your hand is Koa’ki Meiru Doom, Genex Ally Birdman and Gallis the Star Beast in your First Hand and you Win. Normal summon Koa’Ki Meiru Doom and his effect is negate the effects of Light and Dark monsters that activate during the main phase, then activate Gallis the Star Beasts effect so you reveal it in your hand and send 1 card from the top of your deck to the graveyard, if it was a monster inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each level that monster has and special summon Gallis the Star Beast to the field with its own effect. you are always going to inflict damage because your deck is all monsters. now activate Genex Ally Birdman’s effect to return 1 monster you control to your hand to special summon this card from your hand, your choice would be Gallis the Star Beast, and now Koa’ki Meiru Doom’s effect activates negating Genex Ally Birdman’s Effect because it activated during the main phase, meaning Gallis the Star Beast is Returned but you Cannot Special Summon Genex Ally Birdman because of Koa’ki Meiru Doom. keep repeating this over and your opponent loses because you can special summon as many times as you like per turn meaning every time you special summon Gallis the Star Beast you send 1 monster inflicting Damage and Genex Ally Birdman’s Effect returns him to your hand so you can do it again and again and again for the FTK or OTK, it depends because you could use this combo during the duel or on the first turn meaning this deck is an OTK/ and FTK Deck.

Gallis the Star Beast
Level 4
Effect: you can reveal this card in your hand to send the top card of your deck to the graveyard. if it is a monster inflict damage to your opponent equal to its level x200 and special summon this card from your hand. if was not a monster, destroy this card. ATK/ 800 DEF/ 800

Bio Question… Ecology related?

An ecologist studying desert plants performed the following experiment. She staked two identical plots that included a few sagebrush plants and numerous small annual wildflowers. She found the same five wildflower species in similar numbers in both plots. Then she enclosed one of the plots with a fence to keep out kangaroo rats, the most common herbivores in the area. After two years, four species of wildflowers were no longer present in the fenced plot, but one wildflower species had increased dramatically. The control plot had not changed significantly. Using the concepts discussed in the chapter, what do you think happened?
