What is this beetle bug thingy?

it’s this

http://nopests.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/western_conifer_seed_bug.jpg

I’ve asked this question already so i’ll just copy it.

Okay so it started yesterday where i found one on top of my clock. (Idk how it got there) so my dad caught it for me. I have a minor phobia of bugs. So my heart starts racing when i see huge, freaky looking bugs.
Anyway after my dad caught it i was relieved. But now I found ANOTHER one the day after, which is right now Dx so i’ve been waiting for awhile until i had a chance to suck it up. But then i found another one sorta dead? lying on its back on my carpet. WTF? Now i feel like i have an infestation of them in my room as who knows how many more could pop up that i’m unaware of. I cleaned my room not too long ago either. So what are the cause of these?? I’m so cautious right now that another one could be crawling in my room. Please help me identify them :[
(i know i’m a baby when it comes to bugs, but hey like i said i have a minor phobia)
Oh, i just searched on google images. So i didn’t really look at the link.

Is my Mom a Hoarder??????

First off the front room is literary covered in $%^&.There’s old cat poop stuck to the carpet from when they lived in there before they got sent to the animal shelter.every time she steps in there she acts like she’s walking into a clean room instead of the horrible smell of poop and urine & sight[theres fleas in there also that she carries to other parts of the house].when she gets home from work she usually makes food for homeless cats that live in our backyard in the kitchen.in there there is dead and live little flying beetle bugs everywhere.whenever she cooks something involving grease she will leave the greasy pan sitting on the stove till i put it away.the kitchen table is covered in her crap of papers from work, magazines, old plastics plates, newspaper, etc.the family room has her old, unclean, and cat pissed on clothes on the couch and chair. In her room you can barely walk around without stepping on something.half her bed is covered in the same crap from the kitchen table and her floor is filled with silverware and bowls from meals.her closet which used to be my room has twolitter boxess full of $%^& and she still acts like nothing’s wrong.the vacuumm broke so the floor has gotten dirtier.oh yeah whenever she’s a dirty person.she’ll leave half finished pop cans sitting there.[theres about 8 of them in the front]I have no idea why she’s this dirty.i tried cleaning & picking up stuff behind her but she just keeps doing it. ITS LIKE SHE’S THE CHILD & IM THE ADULT.I’m not sure if she’s a hoarder or not because it doesn’t look like she collects useless junk w/no value.what do you think?

p.s. There’s no physical or mental abuse

What type of bug is this?

It is a 6 legged beetle with a black hard shell, crawls really slow. I usually find them in the back yard if I fill up the planter with water. They are about the size of mouse droppings, maybe like a little longer than a grain of rice, maybe like 8mm just a bit smaller than a centimeter. They are in my house and they like to stay by the edge of the carpet and wall. Or in the kitchen by the edge of the tile and the wall. I don’t have many, I just want to know what the heck they are. And how to get rid of them safely without harming my family or home.

I found a small black shiny insect in my house…what is it?

I just found a small black shiny beetle like thing in my house. At first I was sure it was a tick, but then I looked up pictures and realized that ticks are not black and shiny. It was crawling on my carpet near a dog we are dog sitting. It was flat, and looked like a tick…but it was smooth, black and almost like a metalic shinyness to it. I tried to smash it with toilet paper and it wouldn’t die/smash, so I flushed it. Wierd that it wouldn’t just die. What could this thing be?

Little black bug in bedroom?

So, we recently moved into an appartment that just got new carpet. Today while laying down a little bug crawled on me. No it was not a bed bug or capet beetle. It didn’t look like either at all. This is the second one i have found although i found the first one a month ago. It was black but i’m just curious if it’s a concern or if i should just vacuum the carpet right now? ha

can using moth balls poison your health?

this situation has proved a bit of a fcking nightmare for me over the last few months. – especially because i have ocd and generalized anxiety disorder.

ive lived in a small one bedroom flat for 6 years , in that time ive noticed domestic beetles in my flat – even long before i had carpets laid.

i never thought much of them , but months ago when i started noticing small round holes in clothes and old / t shirts – i started to take notice.

ive never noticed any clothes moths in my clothes ever or even larvae , but i was told its either the domestic beetles that are eating my clothes or clothes moths ?

ive started to try and do everything i can to combat this problem ;

i bought some moth balls and moth repellent –

- put new clothes , t shirts and shorts in plastic bags or bin liners

- bought some raid insecticide spray

- im going to buy some ‘ anti moth bags ‘ on line soon.

just recently i read online that moth balls are poisonous to your health , so now im worrying about that , and worrying should i get rid of the moth balls ??

im that angry about this problem i feel like going through my flat with a flame thrower and scorching the little bastrds out of existence !!

the main things i want to know ; does anyone think that im doing all the right measures to stop the insects from eating my clothes ?

and are moth balls poisonous to your health ?

thanks

WHAT ARE THESE BEETLE LIKE THINGS IN MY ROOM?

Alright so i have no idea what these brown beetle like things are. they’re HUGE. in my opinion.

Okay so it started yesterday where i found one on top of my clock. (Idk how it got there) so my dad caught it for me. I have a minor phobia of bugs. So my heart starts racing when i see huge, freaky looking bugs.

No they’re not those. I live in new england by the way. I’ll try to find a picture similiar to them.

I’m pretty sure it’s this. Or at least very similiar to them and they’re brown.

Kind of taking a poll on how my VW Beetle should look.. :D?

Ok, so as you read this is more of a poll then a question. I know I’ll make the final decision, but I’d like to know what others think and it’s 5:30am and I’m curious. Also, thanks in advance to y’all for giving a reply- it’s much appreciated.

I have a 1973 VW Beetle. The bug is lowered, very low and barely off the ground if that makes any difference. I bought it like that thinking I could easily raise it like I had been told. Apparently not! haha.
1.) The All American Bug:
Paint- front end blue with white stars(sparkling coat) with red and white stripes going towards the back. Inside paint will be red with a white headliner and a blue dash. The seats would be white with silver dog tags on the back, custom made with my brothers name on one and my papa’s on the other. the back seat will be white as well with reg. dog tags. The seat belts will be blue as well. All the carpet will be grey and it’ll have all chrome pieces. Then I’m going to have dog tags made, one for my bro, 2 for each papa and 2 for each dad and hang them on a short chain for the mirror.

Now on to the second option…

2.) Flower Power Bug
I’d like crazy/funky colors with kinda hippie flowers and butterflies on it. I’d like the base coat to be blue and the fenders yellow. the inside the paint blue with a white headliner. Seats white with flowers. Carpets- grey and all chrome. :)

Thanks everyone! :D
I dunno if this makes a diff. or not either, but I already have two support the troops stickers on the back windows. I’d also have a flag hanging on it somewhere for either option.
O yes, the shifter will be the chrome grenade as well.

Insects with wings that don’t really fly…how do we get rid of them?

My husband and I have started to notice these weird looking flying insects that always stay close to the master bedroom window (the window is very close to the floor, maybe 6 inches from the ground). They like the window sill and seem to be trying to get out; they crawl on the carpet a little and around the base board, but they won’t go behind the dresser or the bed or anywhere else, they just want to stay at the window. We live in an apartment on the second floor and have just noticed these little pests. They don’t really bother us, they just gross us out, and we kill them every time we see one, but they keep coming back. I looked online and found out the closest description to what they may be are flying ants, but the pictures I saw don’t really look like the insects we’ve been seeing. And the ones in our apartment seem to always be accompanied by little tiny plain black beetles and baby ants (all 3 species stay in the same place by the window and in the bathroom). The ones with wings don’t really fly, they just buzz around like their wings are broken or something; I haven’t seen a single one of them actually get up and fly, it’s more like a little jump and then they buzz around in little circles. I’ve also seen them in the bathtub, but I have no idea how they get in there; I’m thinking the bathroom vents, but I’m not sure. The thing is, I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, and I’m concerned about them. Like I said, these things seem harmless, but I want them gone!!! Should I get an ant killer? Are there any brands safe to be around babies?

I’ll post a picture of one later this evening, hopefully that will help the diagnosis.
